CHASING LIGHTS COLLECTIVE – MINDFUL MOVEMENT IN COLOUR

Chasing Lights Collective Mural

Finally got out for the first time of the year, for a chance to get a couple of the girls together, with a few tins of paint and an ideal excuse to put some colours on walls. With Patricia and Miqui 1-Stop, we had a plan, to try to get the logo of Chasing Lights Collective up and collaborate with each other to re-generate our love for tinkering with paint tins.. Great to be out for the day and re-establish the need to get surrounded with colour, on a regular basis.

Femme Fierce Reloaded – 2015

FemmeFierce

Femme Fierce is the UK’s largest all female street art festival held on International Women’s Day, Sunday 8 March 2015. Following on from the success of last year’s event, I’m really stoked to be heading back to paint the tunnel amongst such a wide selection of artists and positive ladies. 150+ international and UK based street artists and graffiti writers will be creating murals that run the length of the walls of the Leake Street tunnel in Waterloo, London.

This years chosen Charity is Plan UK, which was chosen because of its ‘Because I Am A Girl’ Campaign and organiser Ayaan Bulale has been busy explaining the ethos behind this years event, via Kickstarter. This years event will include workshops, seminars, gallery shows and expand on last year to include a kids wall to help bring the next generation of female artists into the tunnel.
